Ben Taylor and James Fielder

Ben and James founded the gym in November 2013 and both work full time around the gym doing inductions and general gym duties, as well as the business side of things! Both are level 2 qualified gym instructors and are passionate about fitness and training! Both have a huge knowledge of diet, nutrition and anatomy so can assist in any aspect of your routine, as well as write training and diet plans to aid reaching your goals. Ben and James are also here to listen to you, and to make the gym the best environment for everyone, so please speak to them to voice any concerns, feedback or suggestions

Jake King

Jake was one of the first members of staff to start at the gym and helped with the set-up from day one! Jake has built up and excellent relationship with clients across the board and his classes remain some of the busiest in the gym! Jake also has his own personal training business, taking clients for sessions at the gym and writing training and diet plans. Furthermore Jake competes in Men’s physique competitions with the UKBBF. After his first year in 2015 Jake is looking to build and improve for the 2016 season, so it’s no wonder you can usually find him in the weights room when he isn’t working!

Andrea Smale

Andrea has been teaching Spin with us for over a year now and has also started doing insanity classes as an extra! Andrea’s enthusiasm and energy has made her a firm favourite among clients of all ages and capabilities at the gym! Andrea also covers some circuit classes and helps out around the gym when necessary!

Lorna Tucker

Lorna Tucker runs her own business ‘No Nonsense Diet and Fitness’ as well as running spin classes with us at the gym. Lorna has been in the industry for over 15 years and has a wealth of experience in spinning, general fitness, diet and nutrition! You can expect to be put through your paces in a fun and engaging class with Lorna!

Gary Sherwin

Gary teaches our yoga and gym ball classes in the studio and has a vast wealth of knowledge on core strength, stability and functional training. Gary’s progressive yoga classes are popular with all shapes, sizes and abilities! When he’s not teaching, you can often find Gary sweating it out in one of his gruelling functional workouts in the gym area!

Jon Cawley

Ex-Army personal trainer and currently a retained firefighter, fitness and training has been at the forefront of Jon’s lifestyle for many years! After a few years out from teaching Jon has recently returned to teaching with our boxercise classes, as well as covering circuit classes! Jon is an excellent motivator and (as you would expect!) his classes are planned with military precision! We are hoping to start outdoor sessions with Jon in the not too distant future!

Jo Hardman

Originally trained in a variety of ‘Les Mills’ style teaching methods, Jo has recently started teaching again after a few years out! Jo is passionate about fitness, and sharing this with others, so is very excited to meet you all and get back into teaching permanently! Jo choreographs all of her own classes and works hard to make sure her classes are fun and lively for all, as well as making sure that some hard work is done!
